About svetlana

Born in Kazakhstan and fluent in Russian, Svetlana Z. Nemeroff began her legal career abroad, practicing as a fully licensed attorney before making the bold decision to start over in the United States. At the age of 41, she returned to law school, earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, and became licensed to practice in Florida—bringing with her decades of legal knowledge and determination.

Svetlana also holds a Ph.D. in Jurisprudence and previously served as a Senior Attorney for the U.S. Government in Central Asia, working alongside legislators and senior officials across former Soviet Union countries. Today, she applies that unique international perspective to her Florida practice, focusing on probate, estate planning, and real estate law.

Her firm represents individuals, families, and international clients with clarity, efficiency, and care. With a strong cultural understanding and practical approach, she provides trusted legal guidance tailored to each client’s needs.
